Happy Birthday Will!

Yesterday was Will's first birthday! I can't believe he's already one! He is such a great kid and brings so much happiness to our family. Here are some pictures from the fun day.

Mom with the birthday boy. Will playing with his cousins. Will tries so hard to keep up with these kids. It's pretty cute watching him play with them.
Will opening presents. Will and his birthday cake.
We first gave Will a cupcake to eat and when he devoured that, we decided to give him a piece of chocolate cake. This is a picture of him eating the cupcake....
And this is him eating part of the chocolate cake. What one do you think he liked better. :)

Play Time!

Will loves to stay busy. Here are some pictures from the past week.

Will is one happy kid if you let him swing.
Mary has wanted to put gel in Will's hair for a long time. This is what the finish product looked like.
What should I cook for you?
I know! I'll grill you a hamburger!

Disney 2008

Last week we were able to go to Disney World and then on the Disney cruise with my family. These pictures sum up what we did.

Will and Mom waiting in line to see some characters. Poor Eeyore. Will wasn't too fond of him.
Or Donald. Will really didn't like the characters in general. He would watch them from far away, but if they tried to get close, he started crying.
Mom, I know Pluto is over there somewhere.
Will likes to put his feet up when he's in the stroller and he fell asleep with one of them up.
It was SUPER hot in Florida. If you look closely, you can see the beads of sweat on his nose.
I think I look pretty cool with my hair spiked up.
Will loved the merry go round.
When we ate at Cinderella's castle, Will got a sword and quickly found out how to use it.
Mom and Will outside the castle.

Randy and Will on the boardwalk. One of the stops on the cruise was the Bahamas. When we were there, we went on an excursion and one of the places we went to was a mini zoo. Randy got to feed some birds while we were there.
Will and Randy by a flamingo.
While at the zoo, they had this flamingo show where they would march the flamingos around. It was really funny. They let some of us go down and get close to the birds.
One flamingo got too friendly.

Randy and Will with the parrots.
Here are a couple of pictures from the bus ride This is a view of Disney's private island--Castaway Cay.
That's it everyone!

This is a video from the pirate night on the cruise. Will really got into the music.

Beach Week 2008

Every August, Randy's family goes to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and rents a beach house for the week. This year we went to Emerald Isle and had a blast! The weather was perfect and the company was even better! Here are just a few pictures (Well maybe not a few, but it's a few in comparison of the 1300 that was taken) that capture the week.

The house.

One of the many beautiful sunsets. The entire family minus Todd and Ashton. The grand kids with grandmaThe family on the beach. At the beginning of the week Will wasn't so sure of the ocean, but by the end of the week we had to stop him from crawling straight into the water. The kids playing in the sand...even Will and Mack got in on the action. The boys digging a hole.Life is pretty rough when you are 11 months old. Will LOVED sitting in this and could sit in it for hours on end. Will and grandma.Dad was the lucky man who got to spend all the time in the pool with Will. In the Seeley family, there are 5 birthdays in September so they had a little birthday celebration. These pictures capture how Will reacted to eating a cupcake by himself.

Mom, let me just hold the cupcake.
Are you sure I can eat it?
Oh ya, this stuff is definitely good!
Am I only supposed to eat the frosting or can I eat the bottom half also? Mack, you gotta smear it into the high chair and make a mess for your mom to clean up.
Is there anymore that I can have? Another cupcake please!

One morning we went to a Civil War bunker that was nearby. Will fit perfectly into the cannon.Dad, really, what are you doing to me? Mom, I am not going to look at the camera.

Here are just a few random pics from the week.

We love this picture of Will.

One day Will fell down and hit his lip. If you look closely, you can see that it got a little swollen.
What is a vacation without a bunch of naps? I love how Will's mouth is wide open.

Will partied so hard during the day that at lunch one day he fell asleep eating a cracker. We can't wait till next year!
