Easter Time

We had a great Easter!  We decorated eggs, did a couple of egg hunts (those pictures are on my phone and I need to get them off still) and had a great meal!  Here are a few pics.

Starting the decorating process.
Will LOVED decorating eggs

 Such a handsome guy.
These guys are definitely best friends.  Will tells Randy he's his best friend at least daily.
Zach wanted his picture taken the entire time.  He kept saying "cheese" and then wanted me to take his picture so I probably have about 20 pictures of him, but I'll just share two of them. :)

Yesterday we went on a walk and I took the camera with.  So cute!
This boy LOVES rocks.  I wouldn't let him carry this one around with us, but by the end of the walk, he had about 10 small ones in his hands.  The rule on the walks is you can keep whatever rocks YOU can carry (not mom, not the stroller, or I would have a million rocks in their collection by our front door:)).
Will normally rides his scooter or bike when we go on a walk.  He's getting really good with both.
Josh is so sweet.  Besides collecting rocks, he picks flowers for me.
 Handsome brothers.
 Running in the open lots.
 It's chalk time!
Showing a little diaper is the cool thing to do.
He's growing up way too fast!
 Happy guy!
 Chilling in the grass.

Minnesota Visit

We went up to Minnesota a couple of weeks ago and had a busy, but super fun time!  There was lots of yummy food, visiting grandparents, playing with cousins and going to a Timberwolves game.  The day after we got there, it snowed about 6 inches and the boys were in heaven.  They spent a lot of time in the snow with their cousins.

Josh making a snow angel.
Tristan and Josh were buds in the snow.
Will being the king of the snow.
I like this picture but watch Josh in the next four pictures.

Hey look, Mom is close.  Why smile when there is snow around.
I'm going to grab some before mom can react!
You ready mom, it's coming for you!
 Take that! :)
Uncle Paul went out and played withe the kids for a little bit one day.  There was a snow mountain and basically it was the kids against Paul trying to get each other off the mountain.  Paul got Will.
Then he decided to go after Josh.  Josh decided he would just jump off the mountain to get away.  At this point Tristan saw a great opportunity to....
Push her dad off since he was off balance and win!
I didn't get the next picture because I saw what was happening and wondered the result.  Paul saved Josh by throwing him to the side while he collapsed into the snow.  It was quiet an impressive move by Paul.  Then Paul got up to face Tristan, but who could lecture this cute/happy face.
At this point Josh thought the game was over and when to show Paul something, but....
it definitely wasn't over and Paul was ready to capture Josh.
Got em!
They also had fun making snow castles.  I love Brianna's smile.
 And hula snow men.

 Cute kid.
I love this picture of Zach and my dad.  We were lucky enough to see them while they were visiting from China.
Grandparents with their cute grand kids!

Happenings around the House in January

We've been busy around the house.  Here are a few pics from my phone to recap.

Randy has moved a majority of the legos into his office so that Zach doesn't destroy them and so that the boys have a bigger area to play with them.  Zach knows the legos are in there and is constantly trying to sneak in.  If the door is ever open, he will make a run for it before I can catch him.  Several times I've looked for Zach and found him in the office, giggling because he's made it in.  If the door is shut and the boys are in there, he's normally like this waiting to come in.
When he does get to be with the big boys, Zach LOVES driving the train.
Boxing on the Wii has also come in very handy when it's been cold outside.
One night Josh came down and said he needed a snack, however he had to eat it with his sunglasses on.
Waiting for cookies to come out of the oven!
One day during rest time, Josh came down and I asked him what he was doing.  He came over to me, looking like this and said, "I'm not tired so that means I'm not taking a nap!"  Ok mister...
Zach decided he didn't need his shirt or pants, but had to wear his shoes.

Snow in AR!

Over winter break we got a little bit of snow and the boys were ready to go out and play!  Zach had fun in it until he took his gloves off....then it was downhill from there.

What is this stuff?

These guys played in it for a while.  They had a big snow ball fight, built a snowman, and tried doing tricks jumping over a big snow ball.
Our attempt at a snow man.  That was basically all the snow in our backyard.
Santa has nothing on Josh's rosy cheeks!

DSLR Flashes

I'm always amused by how the kids react sometimes when the flash is on on the camera.  Sometimes they can handle it like champs and it doesn't bother them.  Other times the results are what we have below.

Oh no, Mom, what are you planning on doing with your camera?
The Flash?  Really Mom, is that necessary?
Come on Mom, you are killing me!
Maybe if I cover one eye, it will help.
If I take my hand off for a second and smile will you stop?
Ok, I'm smiling...time to stop Mom!
