Tubes

After a year of dealing with multiple ear infections, Will got tubes put in his ears. The procedure went great, the doctors were awesome and Will did really well!

Will and dad walking off some extra energy before the surgery. Will loved just walking back and forth in the hallway.

I was able to go back with Will when they gave him the anaesthesia. It was so sad to watch, but he did so well. From the time I left him in the OR to the time he was back in my arms, it was about 20 mins. I was so glad it went quickly and that he woke up fast. He did wake up crying which was sad, but by the end of the day, he was his normal self. Here we are preparing to go in. Will was able to wear his own pjs.

By the time Will woke up and was back to us, he had had enough of the doctor's office and just wanted to leave. So we had to take off the sticky monitor thingys at home (sorry, I know that's not the technical name of them, but I don't know what they are called).

Happy Will! Hopefully this will prevent future ear infections.

Finally we have some of the Christmas picture up! Here is Will helping me put the lights on the tree.Christmas Eve at my parent's house.

Will started to understand what it meant to open presents and he got excited.
