Our Trip to Europe

Right after school ended in April, Randy and I had the opportunity to go to Europe. We had a blast! We went to Brussels, Paris, Rome, and London and each city was a new adventure. I don't think my feet have ever hurt so much before in my life, but it was so worth it. Thankfully, Randy helped the pregnant lady along...sore feet and all!

BRUSSELS/THE NETHERLANDS: When we were in Brussels visiting my aunt and uncle, they took us up to the Netherlands to see the tulips. The tulips were beautiful and of course it was fun to see the windmills as well!

PARIS: After Brussels we took a train to Paris where we enjoyed some french pastries and took in the sites. It rained a little during the first day in Paris, which was actually kind of nice since it was sooooo hot there! Here are some of the highlights.

ROME: Rome ended up being SUPER hot also and I got burned a little since it was so hot! The Coliseum was amazing, but I have to admit that St. Peter's is breath taking! It is so big! The Sistine Chapel was also great and it was interesting to think about all the painters who contributed to making the Chapel look like that.

LONDON: London was fabulous of course! We saw Wicked and Les Mis while we were there and also managed to go to Hampton Court Palace, the Tower of London, and a few other sites. Overall we had a fabulous trip and we will never forget it!
